Day 1: Welcome to Casablanca
Your Moroccan adventure begins! Arrive at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport, where your private transfer will take you to your hotel. Take time to unwind or explore the city at your leisure.
Day 2: Journey to the Blue City – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we journey to the dreamy blue-washed city of Chefchaouen, stopping in Morocco’s capital, Rabat, to visit the historic Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed V.
Day 3: Getting Lost in the Blues
Today is all about embracing the charm of Chefchaouen! Wander through its labyrinth of alleyways, visit the Kasbah and Mellah (Jewish quarter), and perhaps indulge in a traditional hammam experience. In the late afternoon, take a scenic hike to the Spanish Mosque for a panoramic view of the city bathed in golden light.
Day 4: From the Mountains to the Ancient City of Fes
After breakfast, we leave the blue city behind and head toward the Imperial city of Fes, stopping en route for a guided tour of Moulay Idriss, Morocco’s holiest town.
Day 5: The Magic of Fes – A Journey Back in Time
Put on your walking shoes as we embark on a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Fes el Bali medina.
Day 6: Into the Sahara – A Desert Dream
An early departure takes us on a scenic journey to the golden dunes of Merzouga, passing through the stunning Cedar Forests of Azrou, where we’ll encounter wild Barbary monkeys.
Day 7: Canyons, Kasbahs & Rose Valleys
After a magical sunrise in the desert, we depart via 4x4 for a scenic journey through the Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls create a breathtaking landscape.
Day 8: Crossing the Atlas to Marrakech
After exploring the historic Ksar Aït Ben Haddou, famous for its movie-worthy scenery, we traverse the winding Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, stopping at a women’s argan oil cooperative for a demonstration of Morocco’s liquid gold.
Day 9: Marrakech – A Feast for the Senses
Today, get lost in the labyrinth of Marrakech’s medina. Visit the spice markets, colorful souks, and historic palaces, or opt for a henna hand tattoo as a beautiful souvenir.
Day 10: Farewell, Morocco!
After an unforgettable journey, we depart early for Casablanca, with a scenic breakfast stop along the way. From here, it’s time to say goodbye – until we meet again on another Amarantine Travels adventure!
